One after another, I fade from dream to dream... Walk with me, don't be afraid... Just take my hand, and then we'll fade away... But don't let go or else I fear we'll never meet again... In my hand, I feel you vanish from my side, And once again, I'm left alone here inside This labyrinth of dreams... Shifting though these endless dreams, Is nothing as it seems? I can't rely on my own senses... Will I ever, ever awaken again and Be released from the never-ending web of my dreams? My sense of time is boundless... I can't tell hours from years... Drifting through the dream world of my mind, Is there no one there to hear me? There's nowhere else to go but deeper still into the dream... There's no chance to escape from my own mind, Or this eternal trance... I'll forever be confined To this labyrinth

All I thought was long gone Still lingers on Familiar faces from my past return… Inside of my dreams… The ancient and the recent Seem combined Lost in Time… I'm torn between this solace and the deluge of my tears At these Astral Echoes of the past that I once held dear The living ghosts of those that I have lost Now Visit me again, and the boundaries of life and death have now been… Crossed in my dreams And places defying reason Seem combined All through time Somehow it seems These traces of the people In my mind Are now entwined And the faces of the ones that I have lost so many years ago Are returning from the other side And somehow they point the way for me to go Their spirits have become my guides Inside of my dreams… The ancient and the recent Seem combined Lost in Time… Somehow it seems These traces of the people In my mind Are now my guides

Further still I go into the labyrinth When suddenly everything begins to change before my eyes And once again the crippling fear takes hold Frozen still I cannot breathe, I'm paralyzed... In my mind a war brews that can't be won But there's nowhere to run Now I find I'm the only one To fight the giant within me As the beast, it towers oh so high above my head... I can see there's only one way out of here... There is no escape for me but straight ahead I know I’ve got to face this beast, that much is clear In my mind a war brews that can't be won But there's nowhere to run And still I stand the only one To fight the giant within me But every time I strike it just revives…. The torments of my past have come alive! And now I must struggle to survive…. In a final moment of my desperation I bring my hammer down upon its head In a flash the scene shifts from what I’ve done And it’s clear I have won But now I’ve killed the only one who could find the way out from in here…
